Copacino+Fujikado is looking for an enthusiastic college senior or recent advertising/marketing graduate looking to gain first-hand experience at an iconic Seattle agency. As the agency intern, you will collaborate across departments to gain a holistic advertising experience, immersing yourself in our day-to-day work and contributing to the agency’s success.

This comprehensive three-month internship will help you develop your marketing skills and provide you with knowledge across several disciplines: account management, insights, traditional and social media, production, project management and office administration. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in the advertising industry and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of college completed or recent college grad (up to one year out of college)
  • Marketing or Advertising major preferred
  • Highly organized and resourceful with excellent time management skills
  • Accountable, with effective communication skills

Where you’ll spend your time:

Account Management

What you’ll get out of it: Agency briefing process (creative/media briefs vs. tactical work orders), evaluating creative and campaign production training

Responsibilities include:

  • Client etiquette: communication and meeting prep
  • Developing creative and media briefs
  • Attending internal kickoffs/reviews for creative and media plans
  • Developing work orders for internal and/or client-related projects
  • Scope of work development and project intake process
  • Attending weekly traffic meetings as well as monthly AM meetings


What you’ll get out of it: Digital campaign reporting process, an understanding of several audience/market research tools and exposure to internal and external insights-related meetings

Responsibilities include:

  • Research for Trends presentations
  • Assist in digital campaign reporting
  • Attend internal and external insights-related meetings
  • Use a variety of research/planning tools including: MRI, Sysomos, Netbase, Iconoculture and Tableau


What you’ll get out of it: Media stewardship training and understanding of the media planning process

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in media estimate and insertion order creation
  • Reading and building flowcharts
  • Attending vendor meetings and weekly ES status
  • Be involved in creative/media kick-off meetings


What you’ll get out of it: Understanding of the strategy, implementation and execution of social media campaigns as well as social media monitoring and reporting

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning/creating social media calendars
  • Making meaningful recommendations based on social analytics
  • Creating social advertising estimates
  • Crafting social media strategy
  • Preparing social media reports for clients

Production & Project Management:

What you’ll get out of it: Holistic understanding of the production and project management process, end-to-end project management and exposure to radio recording sessions and photo shoots

Responsibilities include:

  • Attending creative kick offs and script review
  • Creating work back schedules/calendars
  • Holistic account schedules and hours calculators
  • SOW development/Advantage estimates
  • QvAs and budget maintenance
  • EPRO/Radio/TV/Video offsite shoots, recording sessions, photo shoots
  • Generating purchase orders
  • Understanding clearances: business affairs

General Office Support

What you’ll get out of it: Office administration and operating procedure skills.


  • Provide support to the Executive Assistant, this ranges from prepping for meetings to coordinating office parties
  • Opening procedures (coffee/dishwasher/lobby monitor)
  • Closing procedures (dishwasher/lobby monitor/conference room cleanup)
  • Greeting guests and answering phones
  • Distributing daily mail, mailing packages/letters, ordering weekly office supplies, printer maintenance/call technician, ordering Xerox printer supplies
  • Prepping for meetings, work-related errands, party/event planning
