The LGBTQ community is a group that’s been largely ignored for years, so it takes authentic engagement to win them over. Which is why, when marriage equality was passed by popular vote in the state of Washington, Visit Seattle wanted to reach out to same-sex couples with an invitation to get married in the city—delivered through a program we developed to truly show Seattle’s commitment to equality.
